Lamele chirurgicale sunt disponibile din oțel carbon de înaltă calitate sau oțel inoxidabil.
Lamele din oțel carbon sunt protejate cu hârtie VPI.
Dimensiunea lamei este clar identificată pe verso-ul ambalajului peelable și pe cutiile unităților de produs.
